Following the new smartwatch, the Chinese gadget manufacturer Realme introduced an updated version of the Realme Pad X tablet with support for 5G networks and the Limelight function, which the brand copied from the Apple Center Stage.

The Realme Pad X features an 11-inch Full HD+ LCD display with a 60Hz refresh rate, 5:3 aspect ratio and a maximum brightness of 450 nits. Above the screen is an 8MP selfie camera with Limelight support, and on the back is a 13MP lens. The Limelight feature is similar to the Apple Center Stage, which keeps the user in the center of the frame in video calling applications.

The tablet received a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 chipset, 4/6 GB of RAM and 64/128 GB of internal memory, as well as four speakers with Dolby Atmos support, a microSD card slot, a USB Type-C port and an 8340 mAh battery with support for fast charging with a capacity of 33 Tue

Other features of the device include support for the Realme Pencil stylus and the Realme Smart Keyboard with 1.3mm key travel.

The updated Realme Pad X will go on sale from August 1 at the following prices:

  • 4/64 GB (without cellular module) – $251;
  • 4/64 GB (5G) – $326;
  • 6/128 GB (5G) – $351.
