For weeks, fans of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe ask for news of wave 2 of Additional circuit passesa pack therefore bringing together new circuits in DLCs unveiled at the beginning of the year and whose first additions date back to March. Recently, rumors about an announcement were multiplying, everyone going there with their alleged date. nintendo finally communicates on this subject and makes things clear, trailer in support.
Wave 2 of Additional circuit passes of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe will therefore be launched on Thursday, August 4, or next week. On the program, here again already known routes and the unpublished sorbet city ! Visuals also accompany this announcement, to be seen on the following page.
Wave 2 – Released August 4
Cut Turnip
- New York getaway (Mario Kart Tour) – Race through the titanic buildings and enjoy the panorama as you cross the shimmering park in this level that looks like the Big Apple, a re-edition of the original circuit from the mobile game Mario Kart Tour.
- Circuit Mario 3 (Super Mario Kart) – Control your drifts to attack every turn and avoid the Teleportation Pipe in this 100% classic circuit, which appeared for the first time in Super Mario Kart on Super Nintendo.
- Kalimari Desert (Mario Kart 64) – This desert course has the particularity of making you come across an old locomotive, right in the middle of the circuit. Be careful not to create delays!
- Pinball Waluigi (Mario Kart DS) – Roll, bounce, and master this circuit that looks like a giant pinball machine, rich in a thousand sounds and lights. Take care never to tilt!
Propeller Cup
- Sprint in Sydney (Mario Kart Tour) – Drink in the sun and fly over the bay while enjoying a panoramic drive… A circuit originally published in Mario Kart Tour.
- Snowy Country (Mario Kart: Super Circuit) – Be careful not to slip on this Mario Kart: Super Circuit winter track. And don’t forget: a cool head never makes a mistake!
- Mushroom Gorge (Mario Kart Wii) – This circuit features an underground cavern, deep chasms, and giant mushrooms to bounce on. Land gently!
- Cité sorbet (unpublished) – The competition may heat up, but you can play it cool on this “sweet” circuit, filled with gigantic desserts at every turn. Prove that you are the sor-BEST in this 100% new level!
No less than four other waves are planned until the end of 2023, something to keep players busy while waiting for a possible Mario Kart 9 if it ever comes out on Switch. If this Additional circuit passes catches your eye, it is possible to buy it via Amazon at the price of 24.99 €.
