This is how you grab the coveted M16

The big summer update for GTA Online not only brings new cars and jobs, but also new guns will find their way into the game – including the M16, which many fans have been waiting for ages. But you can’t just buy the American classic with a chunk of money in AmmuNation – we’ll tell you how to get the new weapon.

New weapons for GTA Online thanks to the summer update

With the new “The Criminal Enterprises” update, Rockstar GTA Online has once again donated a chunk of new content – including two new weapons: a sniper rifle and the service carbinewhich may be better known to many players as the M16.

While you simply get the sniper rifle in the AmmuNation for 427.5000 GTA dollars can buy, you have to do a little scavenger hunt for the M16, which sometimes sends you over the entire GTA 5 game map.

Note: At this time, the M16 is not yet implemented in GTA Online.

How to grab the Service Carbine (M16)

To unlock the M16, you must have the Gather 5 weapon partswhich can appear randomly in 10 different places as part of a small event.

You need these 5 parts for the M16:

• magazine
• visor
• run
• scope
• breech housing

And this one 10 locations on the map can find the corresponding events where one of the parts can appear:

M16 events in GTA Online are triggered randomly

If you approach one of the locations and one of the events that spawn the parts is taking place there, you can enter corresponding icon on your minimap see.

It is currently not known whether there will be options for automatically triggering the events. So you will simply find the corresponding spots on the map have to leave again and againuntil you have all the pieces together.
