This time things went well: Sony has now officially confirmed the leak and presented the free games on PS Plus Essential in August. It is indeed Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2, Yakuza: Like A Dragon and Little Nightmares – each for the platforms mentioned in the leak.

The July offer is still available until August 1st, and the now confirmed August line-up will apply from August 2nd to September 6th.

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2 is the 2020 remake of the first two classic skateboard games. Yakuza: Like A Dragon is now the seventh main part of the action-adventure series, but it has been changed in terms of gameplay and is based on a semi-turn-based RPG system.
