Louis Ken-Kwofie’s passion for soccer was perhaps the only thing that surpassed his love and dedication to his home country, Ghana. And before coming back to the alma mater where he starred on the pitch, the Hudson Catholic High School boys soccer coach combined the two in his native land. Ken-Kwofie, a member of the Jersey City school’s Wall of Honor, died Saturday at the age of 53, from pancreatic cancer.
