Dutch King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima began a three-day state visit to Austria on Monday with a visit to Vienna’s main Holocaust memorial, joined by Austrian President Alexander Van der Bellen. The royals laid wreaths and lit candles at the Shoah-Namensmauer (Shoah Wall of Names), a memorial to the more than 60,000 Austrian who fell victim to the Nazis. During their visit, the Dutch king and queen are also to meet Chancellor Karl Nehammer and refugees from Ukraine.
