Due to a new covid outbreak.
The TV series based on The Witcher is no stranger to covid outbreaks and subsequent breaks in filming. It has happened twice before, and now it has happened again. Season three of the series is currently filming, and Netflix says they will resume production as soon as it is safe to do so. Rumors online claim that it is Henry Cavill himself who has contracted the infection, but Netflix has not confirmed whether this is true.
We do not know how this will affect the premiere of season three of the series, as we have not received a date so far. Filming began around April this year, and we’ve got a look at who will be portraying the new characters to be added, such as Milva and Prince Radovid.
The action in season three promises even more intrigue and setbacks, among other things with the Aretuza fortress as the scene.
