The description brings to mind Alien Isolation.
We haven’t exactly been spoiled with cool dinosaur games in recent years, but The Lost Wild looks like it could be an interesting title. Now we’ve got a new trailer for the game, but unfortunately it’s not a pure gameplay trailer. Instead, it’s more of a cinematic showcase, but it looks to be in-engine and we’ll hope it’s representative of the actual game, because it looks really good.
We previously wrote that the dinosaurs in this survival/horror game will use advanced AI that allows them to adapt to what is happening, so maybe something along the lines of Alien Isolation? The developers also say that we will be faced with dinosaurs that behave like wild animals, not monsters. It’s entirely single-player, and the focus is on stealth and survival, not action.
We still don’t have a release date, but they are tempting us with the fact that it will happen Steam “soon”.
