Journalists from the 9to5Mac portal have discovered a new sleep mode in the beta version of iOS 16, which directly indicates the appearance of the Always-On Display function in the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max.

The new “Sleep” mode in the fourth beta version of ‌iOS 16 is a dark version of the wallpaper, which is better suited for display on the always-on smartphone display. In other words, this mode works like a photo filter.

As noted by 9to5Mac, Apple will bring Always-On Display from the Apple Watch to the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max. That is, in addition to the time and widgets, darkened wallpapers will be constantly displayed on the screen.

Apple is expected to introduce the iPhone 14 series in September.
