Yesterday, June 29, 2007, the first model of the iPhone was released, which many have probably heard of. On the same day, a guy named Noah Schmick was born, who is not as well known, but thus grew up at the same time as Apple’s phone was developed. In the video above from the Wall Street Journal, we follow the history of both with interviews from Tony Fadell and Greg Joswiak, among others.

The iPhone actually has two birthdays, first on January 9, which was when Steve Jobs first showed off the phone. Since June 29, when the phone landed in the hands of the first users.
