Detectives in Bergen County are investigating the apparent drowning death of a woman who was found Tuesday night on the ground near a hot tub. Police were called about 10:25 p.m. to a home in the 400 block of Terrace Avenue on a report of a possible drowning, according to police Chief Joseph Rinke. The woman, whose name was not released, was found “on the ground, unconscious and unresponsive next to a hot tub, located in the rear of the house,” Rinke said in a statement.
