By Alek Arend One of the NFL’s most underappreciated stars of the past decade is officially retiring. 33-year-old Ryan Kerrigan made an announcement this Friday morning that his career has come to an end. Kerrigan spent 10 seasons in D.C. playing for Washington before spending 2021 with the Philadelphia Eagles. During his 11-year NFL career, the longtime NFL pass rusher totaled 457 tackles, 95.5 sacks and 26 forced fumbles. To recognize his contributions to the franchise, the Commanders are signing Kerrigan to a one-day contract. He’ll retire as a member of the organization. Kerrigan is still …
