The 2,000-passenger Norwegian Sun cruise ship is headed to Seattle for repairs after it hit a small iceberg near Hubbard Glacier off the coast of Alaska, according to a spokesperson for Norwegian Cruise Line. The ship then sailed to Juneau, Alaska for further assessment, where it was decided the current voyage would be shortened and the next cruise scheduled to embark on June 30, 2022 will be canceled so the necessary repairs can be made, according to the cruise line.
