A Hackensack man who taught ice skating to teenagers in Bergen County has been sued by a former student who says he engaged in sexual misconduct with her when she was 16. The former student, who is now 20, alleges in the lawsuit that Andrew N. Lavrik, 36, “used his supervisory and disciplinary power (to create) a special relationship” so he could touch her inappropriately, humiliate her and sexual gratify himself.
