A bill that was getting fast-tracked through the Legislature that seeks to double many contribution limits for elections and remove many pay-to-play donation restrictions in New Jersey stalled on Wednesday. It’s not immediately clear what prompted lawmakers to pull the legislation, dubbed the Elections Transparency Act, for a vote after it sailed through committee hearings with bipartisan support in recent days. “I didn’t even know it’s actually pulled,” state Sen.
