Apple has given a major overhaul to the iPhone checkout page on its website. The new design features larger images, faster access to shopping assistance, and more. There is also more focus on trading other devices.

The previous design of the iPhone checkout process was two columns with static images on the left and configuration options on the right. This new design focuses on larger images and a more polished experience for things like choosing which smartphone to share.

This new design is still based on two separate columns for images and configuration options. However, the images are much larger. It’s a welcome change, especially when looking at the various iPhone color options.

As you progress through the setup process, you’ll see new videos from Apple staff, including a video explaining how to choose your storage configuration. There’s also a static option in the bottom right corner that allows you to instantly open a chat with an Apple Store employee.

One of the biggest changes in this redesign is that there is more focus on sharing. Once you’ve set up your iPhone, you’ll be asked if you have a device to share. There is a new video explaining the exchange process and a full screen interface for checking the cost.

Other changes include new comparison details between different iPhone models, updated FAQs, shipping information at the top of the web page, and more. You can check all the changes for yourself right here.

For now, this new checkout process is only available for iPhone purchases. This includes the flagship iPhone 13 line as well as older models like the iPhone 12.
