The energy storage solutions are on the rise. It must be said that with the proliferation of electronic devices around us, they can represent a significant asset for having a source of energy far from a wall outlet.
But these solutions can just as easily be used as back-up energy reserves at home, in the garden or in the office to deal with power cuts and again ensure an immediately available source of energy .
The specialist in energy storage solutions Bluetti had announced a modular storage system consisting of an inverter coupled to one or more batteries to form a back-up system for the home and/or stand-alone when connected to solar panels.
Less than a year later, the solution has taken a concrete turn and constitutes the system Bluetti AC500 and its LiFePO4 battery B300 / B300S which will be the subject of a crowdfunding campaign on Indiegogo.
The AC500 module behaves like an inverter with no less than 16 sockets of various formats (USB to AC) and can supply 5000W of power in alternating current and up to 10,000 W peak.
Huge LiFePO4 storage capacity
It can be connected to B300S batteries (up to 6 modules) to ensure a total energy storage capacity of 18,432 Wh. It is even possible to link 2 AC500 inverters and 12 batteries to obtain a super storage system supporting up to 6000 W at 240 V and with a storage capacity of 36,864 Wh.
Combined with 2 B300 batteries, the AC500 system can combine several charging modes (alternative, solar panels, etc.) to ensure a full charge in less than 2.5 hours.
operating in UPS (Uninterrupted Power Supply), the Bluetti AC500 inverter can detect a power cut (with a reaction time of 20 ms) and provide emergency power equipment in the event of a main power failure.
It will also be noted that the choice of LiFePO4 as battery technology will ensure good longevity with a capacity maintained at more than 80% up to 3500 charge / discharge cycles and better performance than the Li-Ion batteries usually used.
Finally, control of the solution is total with theBluetti app on smartphone to have at hand the state of the system and a remote control to activate it. The Bluetti AC500 system, with its B300S batteries, will soon be announced on the Indiegogo crowdfunding platform.
