The film is about people in the future who live completely apart in different social strata. It is the classic that people in the upper layer live in paradisiacal conditions while the workers are seen as inferior and live in a kind of underworld in the depths of the earth. A little love story, robots and bonfires at that, badabing badaboom and you have a 153 minute masterpiece.
