Since 2013, there has been a built-in timer in Google Search, but after nine years it is now gone from the search results. In the past, it has been possible to write, for example, “Set a timer for 5 minutes” in Google’s search box, to immediately bring up a timer in your browser.
Now you can instead, for example, visit one of the one billion results that appear when you type “timer”, or ask Google Assistant to take time for you.
Even the stopwatch has disappeared from Google Search.
