proconsule has uploaded the latest stable version and development of its homebrew NXMP

As a reminder, NXMP is a video player for Nintendo Switch based on MPV https://mpv.io/ and on the open source solution of Cpasjuste pplayit supports most popular video formats, HTTP and FTP streaming and also Enigma2 decoders, which are Linux satellite receivers.

The developer offers 2 versions of its homebrew:
0.6.2 which is a stable version

0.6.3 r7 which is a version under development in pre-release.

0.6.3 Rev 7(Nightly Build)

Allow custom http port.

Allow darkhttpd and python -m http.server as servers, not just apache httpd.

0.6.3 Rev 6 (Nightly Build)

Fixed incorrect rendering of the 1080p battery icon in the right menu.

0.6.3 Rev 5 (Nightly Build)

No: Render subtitles as specified by subtitle scripts, with no overhead.

Yes: Apply all –sub-ass-* style override options. Changing the default value of any of these options may lead to incorrect rendering of subtitles (default).

Force: Like yes, but also forces all –sub-* options. Can break rendering easily.

Scale: Like yes, but also applies –sub-scale.

Strip: Radically removes all ASS tags and styles from the subtitle. This is the equivalent of the old –no-ass / –no-sub-ass options.

This option also controls some bitmap subtitles, as well as HTML tags in formats like SRT, despite the option name.

0.6.2 Stable

Since this release, NXMP runs at 1080p in Docked mode and 720p in Handheld mode.

On the Win32 port (for test themes), use the -d switch to boot to resolution in “docked” mode.

Added Oc on startup in settings

Fixed bug where overclock is automatically disabled, leaving fake overclock enabled message next time.

Fixed wrong names in network titles.

The app now closes with the (-) button, not the (+), to avoid issues with the built-in keyboard.

Added stream url (direct url, Fembed, Bitly and JKAnime).

Fixed the bug where the maximum subtitle size is 120 in the right menu, but it is 119 maximum in the settings menu, which is inconsistent. (I just replaced the < 120 with <= 120)

Fixed a bug, where if in the Settings you choose the size of the subtitles, for example 60, when entering the menu on the right, it would always show 55, since this value has been incorporated.

Fixed a bug (not sure if it’s a bug or if it was intentional) where if you change the subtitle size value with any value in the right menu, it doesn’t was not reflected in the size of the settings menu. so now, to my liking, they work in sync.

Added a feature to save the subtitle scaling size and so it can be changed from the settings menu, (and obviously they also work in sync.)

Added Dark-SP and Light-SP themes
