Today, it’s better to just discuss the watches that can be called the best from Huawei and which are perfect for anyone who appreciates functionality. Even with my love for the Apple Watch, I was pleased with them. But let’s talk about everything in order.

Huawei Watch GT 3 Pro comes in two sizes: 46mm and 42mm. These two watch models look different, but essentially offer the same features, so I settled on the larger version. It is quite large and will fit, I think, only men. And only for those who have a more or less large hand. Otherwise, they will look like a coat button on a strict white shirt.
The watch is sold in a box familiar to the brand, which is not much different from what it was before. Inside, everything is in its place and nothing dangles. In general, thoughtful packaging has always been important to Huawei, and this is good, because it shows how the company feels about its product.
Smart watch with titanium case
The Titanium I got is made mostly of titanium, but has a sapphire crystal on the front and a ceramic on the bottom. There is also a Ceramic model in the size of 42 mm. It combines nanocrystalline ceramics and sapphire glass. Both options look very premium and literally give out by their appearance that this is not just a step counter and “bzz-bzz” on the wrist, but a full-fledged accessory that will look good even with formal clothes.

It’s nice that the buttons are very clear. They are not tight or soft, and a clear click immediately makes it clear that you have pressed it. There is also a rotating crown, like in the Apple Watch. It is also well tuned and gives tactile feedback when rotated. There is also a speaker that will not only allow you to talk on the phone in a hands-free format, but even play music if you want it. Although the usefulness of this feature, to put it mildly, is controversial.

The Titanium model comes with a silicone, gray leather or titanium strap. Here you choose when buying what you need. I settled on silicone. If you want, you can change it to any other thanks to the universal mount. But for sports and just for every day, it fits better. It is not as heavy as a titanium bracelet and does not require maintenance like a leather strap.
Silicone strap requires significantly less maintenance.
Is the display on Huawei watches good?
The Huawei Watch GT 3 Pro smartwatch has a clear display with very vibrant colors. As for my larger version, it offers a 1.43-inch AMOLED display. In the smaller version, the diagonal will be only 1.32 inches, but it will also be AMOLED with all its pluses. The screen resolution is 466 x 466 pixels, which is a lot for such a diagonal. As a result, all the dials look very clear and juicy. Some really look like real objects, but there are some pretty crazy ones. They can even be downloaded separately. True, you will have to pay for some, but there are also a large number of free options that you definitely want to download. I am a conservative in this regard, so I set myself one option from the basic set and used it. Although I tried to download additional dials.
There is an Always-On Display mode in the watch. This means that in order to see the time, it will not be necessary to raise your hand emphatically – it will be enough just to glance at the case. Sometimes imperceptibly to see the time is very important. For example, at a meeting, when you do not want the person to think that he is tired of you. Even in the Always-On Display mode, the information on the screen is perfectly visible on the street. Not to mention normal mode. Even the bright sun will not interfere with him.

Is it possible to install applications on Huawei watches
As a small minus, we can say that the watch does not offer a large number of applications, but the built-in modes allow you to cover many needs. All this works very fast. There are simply no delays or slowdowns, as in the first or second generation of Huawei watches.
I would pay special attention to the built-in music player, the interface of which offers excellent music control options, and the weather widget. Everything is in its place in it, and the data is displayed very simply and clearly.
Regular applications are enough for normal use of the watch.
Widget pages are fully customizable. In the settings menu, there is a special section that specifies which of them will be displayed if you swipe the screen to the left. The list can be changed as you wish. You can add or remove widgets. And if you need one more often than others, just move it up so that it is then closer to the main dial.

Before you start using Huawei Watch GT 3 Pro, you need to download the Huawei Health app. It exists for both Android and iOS. I used the watch from the iPhone in order to understand how versatile it really is, although I also have an Android smartphone. You will use this application itself to connect Huawei Watch GT 3 Pro, to update it, configure it, download watch faces and some other things.

In general, I have no complaints about the notifications that come to the watch, but there are some questions about the strength of the vibration motor. I would like it to be more powerful, because from time to time the vibration is simply not felt. Especially while cycling. You can even reply to some messages, but still, receiving a notification for me personally means choosing between “read and calm down” or “pull out the phone and answer”. The answer from the clock is too complicated a thing, and it never went beyond a simple “OK”, from ready-made options or a smiley.
The watch is big but not fat.
What exactly pleases in Huawei Watch GT 3 Pro is the battery life at the level of fitness trackers. I charged the watch about once a week, and then only because I remembered it. In fact, the battery still had 30-50% charge left. For modern watches that work 1-3 days, this is really the level. Remember at least the Apple Watch or Samsung Galaxy Watch, which need to be charged no less than once every two days. By the way, it is the large version of Huawei Watch GT 3 Pro, judging by the reviews, that works as long as possible. A more compact one will have to be charged a little more often, but even there you will have up to a week of work without charging.
For charging, you will have to use only the original charger in the manner of the Apple Watch. This is a puck with a wire and a magnet. When the watch is on it, the magnet centers it so that the charging speed is maximum. As a result, the titanium version charges in about an hour and a half. Although the clock is quite noticeably heated.
